Susie Tierney

Susie is a graduate of the Education for Ministry program through Sewanee University School of Theology, but her most formative education and experience has come through her previous work as the Executive Director of the Center for Social Ministry in Des Moines, a Pastoral Minister in a Catholic parish, a food pantry site manager/volunteer coordinator, and a workshop presenter on poverty and justice. She coordinated efforts to promote and encourage participation in the JustFaith Ministries programs in the Des Moines area (and across Iowa) for over fifteen years. In her spare time, Susie enjoys spending time with family – especially her school age son and daughter. She also enjoys reading and writing poetry.
